Hunting for collectibles in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 offers an excellent way to explore the expanded virtual map of New York City. Among the most popular hidden items are the colorful mechanical arachnids scattered across various neighborhoods. Finding all the items in the industrial and residential zones of the eastern districts rewards players with valuable components and experience points.
Tracking the Western Border Skyscraper
The first collectible in this neighborhood requires you to ascend into the skyline near the water. Players should head toward the far western edge of the district to spot the tallest skyscraper standing in the area. Scaling this building reveals the prize waiting patiently on a high balcony structure.
Once you reach the top area, look for a luxurious rooftop lounge complete with a swimming pool. The target is crawling along the wooden pergola situated near the western corner of this high-altitude deck. Web-striking or walking directly up to it lets you safely secure the collectible into your inventory.
Locating the Eastern Construction Site
Moving toward the opposite side of the map brings players to a completely different architectural landscape. The eastern zone of the neighborhood features active development projects surrounded by heavy machinery. Finding the mechanical creature here involves scanning the upper levels of building frameworks.
Look closely for a prominent structure that is still heavily covered in yellow scaffolding. The item is positioned halfway up the side of this unfinished building right next to a large construction crane. Maneuvering through the structural beams makes it easy to spot the flashing pulse of light emitted by the bot.
Investigating the Northeastern Factory Complex
The final collectible in this specific territory is hidden near the industrial shipping areas toward the north. Players need to navigate toward the far northeastern corner where several warehouses operate. The landscape here is defined by large brick structures and prominent industrial fixtures.
Identify a specific warehouse building that features two large, brown cylindrical structures releasing smoke into the sky. The hidden robot is crawling halfway up the black cylindrical tower that directly faces the neighboring district of Williamsburg. Scaling the vertical pipe allows you to complete the neighborhood set easily.
