Initiating the Quest and Setting the Stage
Before hunting the dualists, you must trigger the tale by speaking to Yamato the musician in Umugi Cove during Act 2. This meeting places five markers on your map, establishing your targets across the region. Preparing your resolve bars and equipping your best armor before leaving the cove ensures you are ready for the consecutive trials ahead.
The Southern Circuit of Straw Hats
The most logical starting point from Umugi Cove is traveling east toward the Old Kanazawa Marsh to confront Yasumasa. Winning this duel in the damp swampland tests your parrying reflexes against rapid standard sword strikes.
